Thinking About The Future

How Do We Prepare For The Future, And Enjoy Today?  Ambition is what drives us. It gives us something to look forward to, something to hope for. But what if you have no idea how to get there? And even further, what if you don't have any clear ambition at all?  To many of us, it feels like the end of the world to not know everything about everything at all times. I know I feel that way, more often than not. It feels dreadful and fills one with anxiety. Why is that? What can we do about it?  These days, the world has become more or less a rat race, with every single one of us rushing to reach the top. The thought that if we are not the best, someone else will be is suffocating. It feels like a tangible reminder of success slipping through our fingers. But there's no single way to achieve triumph-whatever that may personally mean to you. And if you don't have clear goals, it can feel even worse because everyone is always hounding you with questions about what you're planni...

Teens, It's Time to Speak Up: Overcoming the Fear of Asking for Help

Why Do We Struggle To Ask For Help?  Imagine you're stuck in a room filled with smoke and you aren't able to navigate your way out. You're struggling to breathe and the room feels like it's going to collapse in on itself. But you don't ask anyone for help because you fear that you'll be seen as 'weak' or 'incapable'. Why Should Teenagers Be Involved In Advocacy?  As a teenager, I have been through my fair share of daily troubles. Mental health struggles, societal expectations and the pressure to conform to certain norms is something every teenager faces on a day-to-day basis. But what makes my journey a bit different is that I’ve always had the support of my family.  Growing up in a household where my voice has always been valued, I have never had to fight to be heard. But once I opened my eyes and looked around me, I realised that not every teenager has been given that luxury. Most teens aren't given the same amount of support or encouragement to speak up about their struggles. That's when it hit me that I am just one of many and the fact that I am privileged enough to speak up makes it my responsibility to do so.  Once I reflected on my own experiences, I realized that advocacy isn't just for adults with more life experience or power. Advocacy is for anyone who has a true passion to...
